THE ROLE OF THE EDUTRONIC WEBSITE

The first role is to document the Analogue Film Making that is now the main strand of activity at EDUTRONIC. The second role is to document the Learning and Teaching Materials that were created by Ian Symonds of EDUTRONIC. A key feature of these materials was an emphasis on practical tasks as a major part of the student experience. They are in the area of Digital Electronics, control and embedded systems, often in a Mechatronic application. These two strands are closely related and projects often cross the boundaries between them to achieve the desired results. In house projects often use digital electronics expertise to build suport systems for the analogue film camera and associated devices. These support systems, together with the camera and digital sound equipment, are often used in film projects that have an education purpose. In many cases this purpose is to cover topics in the digital area such as embedded systems, control and robotics. The brief lists below indicate the sort of areas covered in the two main strands. Please feel free to CONTACT EDUTRONIC for further information about the above or any other related queries that you may have.
